Durante el curso pasado utilicé en Google Art Project en mis clases de Arte. Proyectaba la imagen en una pantalla y la clase podía "viajar" a museos en varios países, sitios a los cuales no podríamos haber ido por motivos de tiempo o recursos. Las aplicaciones educativas que puede tener este proyecto son la verdad que excelentes.

Google's new project is just amazing. The Google Art Project will surely bring to millions the opportunity of virtually visiting museums from home, or just anywhere, through their computers screens. The educational applications of this new adventure. Users can easily navigate through the project by simply selecting a museum from the homepage and then either choose ‘Explore the museum’

Por lo pronto he creado el blog con la primera entrada para definir el concepto de Cibercultura.

El blog viene en inglés y español, además algunos comentarios vendrán con resúmenes en otras lenguas ( alemán, islandés, italiano, etc.) esto es para aumentar el ratio del posible público lector del mismo e internacionalizar el blog, el cual ha sido creado para el taller pero pretende seguir desarrollándose como una herramienta de difusión para los estudios de doctorado que estoy realizando.

Imaginando el futuro. Imaging the future. Urtea 2045

Año 2045. Me acabo de despertar para aprovechar mi corto día aquí en Marte. He vuelto para visitar la nueva colonia que la confederación de mineros indoeuropeos va inaugurar en el Valle Marineris y luego continuar mi viaje a B-90, situado a 6millones de años luz. El planeta rojo está más alejado del Sol pero en tantas cosas sigue siendo como la Tierra. Me ilumino la boca con el limpiador láser y Twiky, el robot flotante, me inyecta un nuevo vasoregulador de la densidad sanguínea para ajustar mi presión a la gravedad local, que hace que mi cuerpo pese solo 1/3 de lo que pesaría en la Tierra. Twiky es un estupendo peluquero, siempre me deja ese look sideral que tanto me gusta.
